Eighth Avenue Place was alive and full of Stampede spirit to celebrate the 101st year of the Calgary Stampede. Our lobby and gardens were full of daily fun and entertainment throughout all 10 days of festivities.
We welcomed our First Nations guests who performed incredible hoop dancing, led us in Pow Wows and showcased authentic tipis in our courtyard.
Our lobby was transformed to the old West, with fun western-themed sets for photographs and giveaways including EAP flasks, sheriff badges and bolo ties. The men even enjoyed complimentary hot shaves at London Barbers West!
Our annual BBQ was a huge hit with delicious food, entertainment including an incredible performance from 2012 Aboriginal Performer of the year, Shy Anne. Our Stampede fashion show was a great success and the Stampede Queen and Princesses stopped by to say hello and get us all in the Stampede spirit.
Thank you to all our organizers and tenants for coming out and making this an incredible Eighth Avenue Place event.
See y’all next year!Copyright © 2008 - 2018 EIGHTH AVENUE PLACE . All rights reserved.
